“ Passing through Tupelo on a family road trip to the Coast. Stopped in here for dinner and was thoroughly impressed. Don't let the exterior and the location (in a shopping strip mall) fool you. As you walk through the front doors, you are warmly greeted and seated quickly. We stopped in on Friday night, so it was busy, but not so loud we couldn't talk at our table. The food was great and the atmosphere is awesome. The staff are fun and great to talk with. Highly recommend! ”

“ Solid little spot in a strip mall. Good atmosphere and large bar. Good beer on draft. Good American food, can't go wrong with the buffalo chicken wrap. When I'm in town I usually go here. I've been 3 or 4 times and once encountered a drunk at the bar that was a little obnoxious and disturbing the people around him. Overall a good place, no real complaints. ”

“ Lonestar Schooner Bar and Grill is located in a shopping plaza. I met with a client for a lunch meeting at his recommendation and I have to say that this place is a fantastic choice for a meal. The service is definitely top-notch. Our server was friendly, outgoing and professional. The owner brought our food and was also great. My client went with a cheesesteak with French fries and I chose one of their burgers with onion rings. This burger was one of the better burgers that I have had in a long time and I will definitely be returning here the next time that I am in Tupelo, Mississippi. The ambiance here is definitely cool and tries to give it a rustic and rough around the edges vibe. I thought it was cool that they used a door and a glass door mounted sideways to separate the booths. This was a definite win for me and I would definitely recommend here. I give here five stars overall. ”

“ Recently stopped at the Lonestar in Tupelo, MS. Even though the staff was short, our server Lexie did an excellent job. One of the best services I have had at any restaurant. She was very friendly and paid close attention to detail for a party of 6. She got orders completed and served not only our table but those around us with a smile and showing no issues of a short staff. She kept all drinks re-filled without having to be asked to and stopped by to check to see if we needed anything without being a nuisance. She is definitely leadership material and should be considered for any future advancement. Refreshing to get to a restaurant and have great customer service. Thank you Lexie ”
